Inspired by her grandmother who was a fine art oil painter in the panhandle of Texas, Lauren loved photography before she can remember. Always wanting to preserve memories, Lauren found photographs as a true way to document the human spirit. In 2006, she captured her first wedding and has been photographing weddings all over the world ever since.

Lauren is a Texan based in New York City and Copenhagen where she draws inspiration from her surroundings. Whether it be biking through the historic design capital, Copenhagen, or fast-paced New York City, each place inspires her work of preserving this adventurous life.

Her most sacred work is mothering her three children and partnering with her college sweetheart and husband. Her favorite things in the world are the American West, Colorado summers, road tripping through Europe, and watching her kids experience new adventures.

Lauren believes that good art is transcendent, powerful, and historicizes some capacity of the human experience. Whether it be your engagement, wedding, or beyond - photographs of your life’s adventure merits preservation.
